MCF Funded 280 COVID-19 Tests for Seniors
MCF funded COVID-19 testing at senior-care facilities in Moraga during spring 2020. The campaign raised $15,267 from 64 donors, including a $5,000 donation from the Lafayette Community Foundation.
The funds covered 280 tests for residents and staff of Moraga Royal, Aegis of Moraga, and Moraga Acute Care. LabCorp provided the tests in collaboration with the Contra Costa County Medical Director, and medical-professional volunteers from Lamorinda administered them.
